Vacancy Details for Save the Children Job Circular 2026:
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in disaster risk reduction, climate resilience, environmental management, humanitarian programming, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of DRR, Climate Change Adaptation (CCA), Anticipatory Action, humanitarian systems, and emergency response programming.
- Proven experience in report writing, documentation, and preparation of high-quality technical and donor reports.
- Experience in implementing Nature-based Solutions (NbS), ecosystem-based DRR (Eco-DRR), watershed management, forestry, ecosystem restoration, or other environmental and resilience programmes will be considered a strong advantage
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, coordination, and facilitation with government, LGIs, and development partners.
- Ability to support knowledge management, learning, and evidence generation through field documentation and case studies.
- Basic understanding of budget tracking, project coordination, and operational support.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with ability to work under pressure in field and emergency contexts.
- Proficiency in MS Office and data management tools; familiarity with GIS, KoboToolbox, Power BI, or other data visualization tools will be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively (approx. 40%) to field and hard-to-reach areas.
- Master’s degree in Disaster Management/Environmental Science/Development Studies/ Urban and regional planning/Geography/Social Sciences, or in a related field. Professional certification in Humanitarian Programming/Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR)/Climate Change Adaptation or Anticipatory Action will be considered an added advantage.
