Master’s degree in Law, International Relations, Development Studies and Planning or a related field from an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience; or, University degree in the above fields with seven years of relevant professional experience.Work experience from a humanitarian setting with relevant professional experience in the field of sexual exploitation and abuse, protection, gender-based violence, staff misconduct and discipline, gender mainstreaming and/or humanitarian affairs; Having demonstrated technical experience in SEA Prevention and Response/ Gender Based Violence and or Accountability to Affected Populations; Experience working in the IASC or in other inter-agency bodies or processes; Experience working in the South or South-East Asian regions is an advantage; and, Experience in developing and facilitating training and capacity-building activities is an advantage. |

Languages:
- IOM’s official languages are English, French, and Spanish. All staff members are required to be fluent in one of the three languages.
- For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written). Working knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish), Bengali and/or other local language is an advantage.
- Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
