The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is a United Nations agency that provides services and advice concerning migration to governments and migrants, including internally displaced persons, refugees, and migrant workers. The IOM was established in 1951 as the Intergovernmental Committee for European Migration (ICEM) to help resettle people displaced by World War II. It became a United Nations agency in 2016.

Vacancy Details for IOM Job Circular 2026:

Education

School diploma with five years of relevant experience; or,
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with three years of relevant experience;.

Experience

Experience in the usage of CAD, 3D modelling software is required.
Experience in construction design is required.
Experience in using GIS software and mapping is an advantage.
Experience with International Organizations and/or NGOs is an advantage.

Skills

In depth knowledge of computer- aided drawing software (CAD)
In depth knowledge of 3D modelling computer-aided design software (SketchUp)
Knowledge of Geographic Information System software (GIS) is desirable.

Languages

All IOM staff members in all categories are required to be fluent in one of the IOM’s official languages (English, French, Spanish).
For this position, fluency in English and Bangla is required (oral and written).
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
