Vacancy Details for UNICEF Job Circular 2026:
- Education: Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Social Science, Statistics, Economics, International Law, Demography, public policy strategic planning, or another relevant technical field.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required. Previous experience in any of the following areas is required: birth registration, legal identity, statelessness, or CRVS programme formulation, design, implementation, and management.
- Skills: Strong background in data analysis, database management, and e-government systems, combined with excellent analytical, reporting, and programme formulation skills, as well as knowledge of interoperability, legal requirements, management practices, and child rights frameworks.
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English language is required.
Desirables:
- Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) is an asset.
- Excellent understanding and exposure to CRVS in Bangladesh.
- Demonstrated experience with database systems including e-government systems and integration across systems.
- Strong understanding of interministerial dynamics in Bangladesh.
- Familiarity with UNICEF’s mandate and goals in CRVS systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with legal requirements governing civil registration.
- Excellent analytical, data analysis and report writing skills.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
Languages:
- Fluency in English language is required.
